Studio shoot for Terry

Since not cooked on Wednesday, so we went to Sunway Pyramid to have our dinner. Initially plan to have Flamming Steamboat buffet, we round at those shops at hotel side, couldn' found it. 2nd choice wan to hav Chicken Buffet, but no more there. So, end up having Sushi King. By the time we exit car park only found that Flamming Steamboat buffet restaurant is located at Esso that side there. Hopefully can come next time when hav time.

Sunway Pyramid is under construction now...expanding again very big project going on. The parking lot left half at the shopping mall. It is pack and not easy to drive in there.....only have 1 exit, which is near Esso there.... I believe aft it done the parking will be very huge and can link from hotel to shopping mall.

Aft dinner, shop a while...Walk passed Anakku shop, there hav a studio photo shooting booth. With every purchase of RM30 and above in Anakku shop entitle a free 4R photo. So, since we hav plan wan to let Terry to hav one studio photo each year, might as well get it there. We bought him a K's Kids stroller toy and a pack of wet tissue to make up of RM30. Place him on the shooting point, make him lie on stomach for posing, and make him smile. Out of 6 pcs of pic, we choose 2, another one pcs add extra RM7. This photo studio shoot is done by
DeOne. Will collect the photo next week.

Continue shop, but couldn't get anything nice. So back home. Heavy pour...

Actually my initial plan is to cooked stew pork, but due to reason of chemical used in raise a pig, that may harm human's health, Minister ask to stop eating pork for a while. So, everybody less taking pork meat now. After dinner, we having tang yun. SIL#1 gave Terry christmas present.

24/12 - Morning as usual went to church for worship and received some Christmas present from church mate. Baby Terry also have. This year I didn't buy gift for frens, only give out Christmas card. At night, our church celebrate it at Sri Petaling Community Hall. Invited Soul Work (a Christian group of composer and presenter) to present to us, also our own choir team and tembourine dancers. The night buffet dinner was ready by own church members and free flow till it end. The food is tasty. Lucky draw can't get anything, but we still have door gift - 2007 calendar and sweets.

25/12 - Both of us went shopping the whole day without Terry. Manage to buy new clothes for CNY. Everywhere is jam. We reached 1 Utama at 11.30am still ok and found parking easily. We planned to go The Curve and Ikea at 3pm, came out jam. Reach there, all parking full and entrance is block for cars entering. Many cars are parked at the road side. We know is super super full, so we go off and went for lunch first before heading KLCC. Reach at 5.15pm, condition still ok, lots of people and can get parking easily. I didn't get anything from there, but Brandon get a good discount on the leather shoe and clothes. Before fetching Terry from my mum's home, joined Brandon's fren for a short gathering at Cheras, as also having our dinner.

    About the prize

Still remember I won the Sony Mini Hi-Fi and I was waiting their notification email to collect the prize, which they promise to sent within 2 weeks time. Wait for more than a month time, how come the email is not reach me yet and I started to suspect whether is it true that I can get it, until I read the winner list and proven that I'm one of the October winner.

Don't know what happen that I cannot received their email in my Yahoo! mailbox, which they have actually sent. And, too bad I didn't save the phone number they call me before. So in trouble, no one can help me and the website no contact detail and address. So, I found out from the Hennessy bottle and call to the organizer (Riche Monde, also distributor), but always engaged. Luckily at the end recall one of my fren also the winner on previous month, with his help, his fren know the Brand Manager of Hennessy and he help me to inform the management office to give me a call again. Finally, the management office call me up and check the email add with me and they try to send again to Yahoo!, but again it just couldn't get it in Yahoo!..really frustrated. Luckily they accept an alternative add, there I got it in gmail. When I'm reading the letter, it actually stated there 1 week collection date in November. Luckily they still allow for the late to collect.

Phew!!!....I just collect the prize on Monday at Plaza Damansara, Block C - Dentsu (M) Sdn. Bhd. What a great experience of collecting this Mini Hi-Fi. It is not mini, 21kg, very big and they did inform me early to bring along husband to carry. We didn't familiar with the place, so we parked our car at Block A, and we walked to Block C. This office building main entrance, vehicle cannot passed by, need to climb staircase to reach. So go la, climb about 50+ steps staircases while Brandon carry Terry. So, after we took that, think of need to go down 50+ steps again with 21 kg..sweating man! Brandon carry alone and I carry Terry...3 of us also sweating!!! it is impossible to carry that huge thing back to our carpark, so Brandon drove the car up near the staircase then only transfer it.

I plan to sell it off. Not really need it now and because it is not MINI. Will let u know the model and price later.

    Cooking

I'm not very good at cooking, nor very interested in cook. If u ask me to read recipe book, attend cooking class, u can count me out. I learn cooking just from watching TV, watch my mum did cooking and briefly listen how to cook from my mum only. Since aft having Terry, almost everyday 3 meals, I cooked by myself. Sunday is my off cooking day. Taste of my cook..so so la..still can eat....learn new cook once a while if I wan to eat. Currently dishes I make are simple and fast cook. Most of it cooking style are stir fried, steam and stew/ braised. Most easy cooked is boil soup, fast, convenient yet nutrition, as all essence is extract out from the ingredient u boil.

Simple dishes I used to cooked are like stir fried vege/meat, braised chicken (in soya sause), steam pork rib, steam chicken (can b steam in ginger, mushroom, pre-pack ingredient, herbs..etc..), steam fish, yong tau fu (seldom). Normally I like to mix fried, like vege with meat. Soup wise are like bayam soup, ABC soup (potato, carrot, big onion, tomato, mushroom), herbs soup, vege soup.

Currently only my own family n Brandon tasted my cook. Still boosting up my skill to do better cooking. All thanks to my mum!

    Nappy rash

Mummy great worries for baby is not run away from nappy rash, the pet pet is just red and if it is terrible, it will cause itchy. Since Terry having solid, his stool become more "chemical" than just taking milk. Happen twice his backside have mild nappy rash.

I used Bepanthen, a trial sample in the goodie bag from MommyBaby carnival recently. Since I dun hav one before, just wipe it on first to soothe it... and I also add an extra piece of nappy liner on top of the diapers to makes his butt more dry. Normally nappy liner I only used when he is wearing cloth diaper. For better, everytime I washed it with running tap water before putting on a new diapers.

After I'm doing so, in 3 days his red butt is gone !!!

    Long: 73cm

Terry is half year old!!! he is growing bigger and stronger now since after solid. Currently still taking 1 time solid and 3 times milk per day with 5.5oz each time. Up to today Terry has tasted on Nestlé Rice Cereal (plain fav), porridge, bayam (yin choi), apple, banana, carrot and potato. Will still stick to this few food till next week until I introduce him other new food. Doc hav mention to us he can change to Step 2 (6-12 months) milk powder at anytime now, as Step 2 milk powder contain more protein than fat. Currently he is still having DutchLady FrisoGold 1.

Can hold milk bottle and drink by himself by leaning on my arm. Poo-ed 2-3 times per day. Love to smile, laugh out loud and talk in his language. Currently can make more sounds other than mmm and ma ma, mum mum...blow out with saliva bubbles on the lips. Drop saliva when sit for long. Now he is not so easy to cry when stranger carry him.

    Genting EPL Viewing Party

Sunday went up to hill to enjoy the EPL Viewing Party organised by TigerFC. Brandon was one of the first 200 who register online and got it free and can bring along a partner to enjoy the party. We also can enjoy:
    - Free transportation to Genting Highlands if you are from Penang, JB or Kuala Lumpur (one way)
    - One night's stay at First World Hotel (twin sharing)
    - A Tiger beer for you and your buddies at the Viewing Party
    - 2 complimentary meals per person
    - VIP seating exclusive for Tiger FC members

As for convenience, we drove there. 3pm the Hi-tea with football legend & soccergurus starts, but we late for 30 mins due to heavy rain and a bit traffic jam at MRR2 highway. But luckily all the way up no rain, and we used about 25 mins drive from the bottom to the summit. After we found a parking, faster we run to the Genting Hotel and look for the café -
The Olive, which they having the hi-tea there. The day this restaurant also close for public.

After a short section of sharing from an ex-Chelsea footballer (forgot his name), a photo section was on with him and we are given his photo with signature aft that. We also enjoy the hi-tea food and the ambiance before we check-in the our room at First World Hotel (must enjoy a while as this restaurant is one of the participant of KL Int' Gourmet Festival). Malaysia's hottest icons in football - Sheldon Xavier and Jeremiah Manvir, are 2 of the host of this viewing party. The programme of the night was the Genting EPL Viewing Party -10pm at Genting International Showroom.

This was my first time stay at First World Hotel. A twin sharing room, very very small room. But the window view is nice, can view the whole outdoor theme park. Since the time is still early. After resting, I went down to walk and buy some food from Time Square at First World Plaza. As usual, Genting everywhere is full of ppl. Many shop changed too, last 2 years there were still many fast food restaurant, now there are more chinese and local food, which is a great way to introduce local food to tourist. Thought of going to Casino and try our luck, but due to Brandon attire, he is not allow to go in. So we just walk a while from First World Hotel to Genting Hotel before the party starts.

Before 10pm sharp, we walked back to the Genting Int' Showroom. Queue up to enter the hall, but too bad both of us are not the Genting WorldCard member, so we not allow to go in. But luckily the card counter is still open to new applicant, faster we go to the counter near Casino and make one. In fact, many TigerFC member also not a WorldCard member and they are also in queue to make one.

Upon entering the Showroom, we are given a whistle, coupon to redeem free drink and also a small paper to write down your prediction score for Man U vs Chelsea match. For my prediction, Man U vs Chel I give 2:1..haha...I'm not so sure how well is both soccer team played, just know that Man U is very famous in the game, so just give them a 2. Somemore I'm not so keen for the prize also (all expenses paid trip to watch EPL life in Arsenals' Emirates Stadium). The actual match time is 12am, so before the Live game start, the Managment host, throw us some stage performance and games. The performance are dancing and swimsuit parade by so called Genting EPL babes, 8 of them.

The games are like guess the footballer name from the word scrabble, guess the position of the ball, guess the footballer name from the picture, guess the name of the football club logo. One more game is beer drinking with baby bottle by lean on the EPL babe's arm (they are also put up with bib and baby cap..damn funny!). The winner of beer drinking took away the original signed Chelsea jersey (Lampard 8) worth 10k (wah..so expensive man! of coz is limited only 1 and this guy, a Chelsea fan, damn lucky..)

Before the Live match begun, we leave the hall, as for our plan we dun wan to watch the match, as we are getting back to home early morning at 5.30am. Manage to get down from there at 5.30am and reach Puchong to fetch Terry at 7am. Terry very good boy, luckily no mummy sick and home sick for half day and a night. First time overnight without me. It is not easy to put down baby and ourself to go off. As for now, I treat every outing and trip very well, as a chance to relax and rest without worried of baby. Also a great time for only 2 of us pak-tohing.

Although both of us not so keen for the match, but is our prediction hit? MAN U vs CHEL - 1:1, No...we don't got that (0:2 from Brandon). After all is quite fun too..

    5 months old

    Weight: 7.8kg+

Started on solid since 5 mths 1 week old...currently adapt quite well with rice cereal and mash-potato. For rice cereal I'm giving him Nestlé plain rice cereal powder add on own milk powder. For mash-potato sometimes served with milk, sometime served with vegetable (yin choi). Currently he having 1 time solid food in the noon and drink 3 times milk (morning, evening, before sleep) with 5 oz each time. When feeding I put him sit on the rocking chair (baby carrier)..he will sit quietly and let me finish feeding him in 20-25 mins. Since having solid he poo-ed 2 times a day. Giving him a lot of plain water (about 6-7 oz a day) as I afraid he get hot with the food. Sleep quite less now, every nap last about 2 hours only. He growth 2 small teeth now.

He loves to bite the teether fish. Can fully turn on left and right very well. Once put him on the flat mattress he can turn non-stop and kick non-stop...if having things around him like gym set or pillow bolster he can just simply mess up.... One thing good is he will sit quietly on my lap when I hold his finger to cut finger nail, he won't move around or grab my small scissors, but when I read he will grab my book/ magazine. His feet can reach his mouth now and sometimes do lick his toes...Likes to pull my hair and my spec when I go near his face. See when I got new specs ya..hehe...when he gentle he will touch my cheek softly...his hair is getting long again, will bring him to trim up one day....Next week he turns 6 months old...times flies...I just feel like time passed very fast taking care of him...

How to peel off cooked potato's skin

Terry have started on solid about 5 months 1 week old. Today first time making mash-potato for him. I came across this video clip about peeling off potato's skin, so I just follow how to do...and yes, I can make it like it shown...The skin just easily peel off ...some suggest take off the skin first, cut to small piece n put it to boil. I think that way the potato's vitamin will wash away...so with the skin boiled it in whole for 25 mins, everything will keep till it cooked...and I dun find any problem peel the skin off....very good to do...

After took off the skin, I pressed the potato with steel spoon, add 5oz milk then put together n blend it to get the texture like cereal. So, since he first day having mash-potato, I just try mixed with milk first..he still able to finish one bowl like the quantity he hav for cereal, but he ate much slower than having cereal...not sure whether is not tasty or wat..but I tested it is ok....when feed with cereal, he ate very very fast and can't wait for the next spoon to put into his mouth...once u stop there/ just a bit slow to put in his mouth, he will cry straight away...but with mash-potato, eat slow, no cry, no shout (even put in mouth slower)...dunno what he means la...hehe...

    Child safety phone

This phone design is simply amazing, whereby if u are so border of getting what model of mobile for your kids, yet want to stay connect with them, this model is just simply speak what u wan for them. The youngest and the oldest

New member arrived. This is my elderest-cousin-bro's first baby Kieran Chow. The youngest in the Chow family. Born on mooncake day ago with light birth weight. We had dinner on Sunday night at Restaurant Summer Palace, PJ. My uncle invited many relatives and friends from both of their family. Baby slept tightly thru out the night, although over the partition there were loud hoo-haa going on...our baby Terry slept for a while then wake up cry angrily when dinner about to finish.

In the Sunday morning, back to Brandon's Seremban hometown for Terry great-grandfather's birthday. This is the very first time Terry met him. He is 98 yrs old...still can talk n walk, but body very weak. Before baby Terry was here, we intend want him to fix the middle chinese name for us, but he said he just couldn't think of it and he is very blur, sometime can't even recognise his close family ppl. His days depends very much on cigarette n alcohol drink (stout, herbal alcoholic essense..etc), he ate very very less. Terry was his first great-grandson, also the first new Pang's generation.

Stay there for half a day, having lunch n early dinner, under the hot roof and not-so-clean environment (a lot of flies everywhere and ants on the floor). This old home still using well water. I just can't put down Terry at anywhere. Luckily can he slept in the sarung for 2 hours and no big shout n cry under the hot house...when he awakes I carry him throughout the day. huh~~~ very tired man...

    Thats our busy family day.

Wardrobe looks neat and empty now...finally I got to shop for myself last Sunday...bought new dinner dress, capri pant and a pair of shoe...while shopping I notice many things I cannot buy now....no new handbag (no chance to carry), no high heel (need to carry baby, how to wear?), no V-shape top with low front cut (forget about it, when u carry baby ur shirt will automatically go down a bit), no office work wear (stay at home mum no need that), no skirt (always wear pant is more easier to take care baby), all I can buy now is pant, flat+rubber form shoe and simple shirt....so wait until Terry big boy then can go for all above again...big sacrifies ya...

I'm having light problem of urinary incontinence and this makes me worried and really shy for myself for this problem...I'm looking many info from the Internet on this area, especially on the treatment. This problem will only b fully cure by operation. For light cases, it can be help and control by Kegel exercise, food and also some chinese herbs food, although this problem normally happen to old ppl, but I just take it to try, as those ingredient no harm too...it is not medicine....so before it getting serious, I hav start doing exercise and taking food now. Some said during confinement stand to drink water will increase the seriousness of the problem...I dunno how true is it..as I almost stand to drink...anyway till now no information I read got said so....

Also, suffering on hair lost now, as hormone are slowly change back to normal since 3.5 months ago. It drops a lot especially aft hair wash ...hairs everywhere in the house...I feel my hair is very thin n flat now...dunno when it will end the hair drops...during pregnant hardly drop hairs...now it pays back...

Brandon have planning to go for a trip and an outing...but I dun think I wan to go also...I can't put down Terry to someone...Sometimes I do feel being a mum very tired...can't go places for long hour, even someone is taking care of him, but my heart cannot let go...think of sleep as long as u wan...I dunno since when I lost this great pleasure... hai...can I put down the role of mum for just 1 day??? I don't think I can...is the heart cannot put down...I truly feel the mum greatest of all...

    Terry’s belongings

Since born, Terry is blessed with many second-hand stuff which is passed down from my cousins, some given from my friend and many new sets clothes are gift received during fullmoon…counting from the beginning up to before current shopping, for clothes – I only bought 1 new set for him to wear after born when discharge back home and the same set wear during fullmoon…you may not believe that he also wearing n using some of my properties like blanket, home wear, sarung spring, baby bath tub and even cloth diapers, all this thanks to my mum who kept this for many yrs.

It actually can help to save down a lot not to buy everything in new. Other than that, his baby coat, small bouncing net (not fit him anymore) and now extra large bouncing net are all lend from cousins too…all this big n small stuff we are passing between each other as we hav few different months babies around….Other new things for him are handkerchiefs (given/ second hand one may not good to b re-used), booties and mittens, pillows and bolsters, toys, some bathing stuff, stroller and etc... My mum also tailor-made him the bed case, pillows and bolsters…

On Saturday holiday went to KLCC by myself and shopped for 4 hours…Brandon looked after Terry at home aft he sent me there….all the way no traffic jam…So shopped at Isetan & Parkson, thought of getting myself a new set dinner dress as all of those old one are hardly can fit in now and also bought some new casual wear..but aft browsing n try for many, none of that I like…so not bought anything for myself…but when in baby department...I can loaf there for 1 hour long to check out baby stuff and nice clothing…I’m freaking love looking at baby stuff now…everything is so cute n nice and of coz checking out those high quality things like Avent, Chicco and Fisher Price product range…wow very the expensive ohhh…especially Chicco. I pretty love baby to wear Rompers, as when they are moving around a lot, wearing pant and shirt separately, it may easily come out and looks messy to them.

After 4 hours walk…very tired, but feel very nice again can b alone all by myself…Come check out Terry’s new and second-hand belongings.
