Pregnancy and Delivery Story Tag

Thanks Mummy Gwen for this special tag. Pregnancy and delivery is a very precious moments for all mummies. I will never forget my pregnancy days and delivery moment. My full delivery story is here too.

1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Within a year after married.
2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Yes.
3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? Surprise, happy and at the same time worried.
4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU? Never.
5. HOW OLD WERE YOU? I was 26.
6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? I missed my period. Also used the pregnancy test kit to confirm.
7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? My hubby.
8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? Of course.
9. DUE DATE? 31 May 2006
10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? Nope. I was less appetite and only want soup and rice at very beginning and also I can't stand the smells of cooking and even watch TV showing those delicious food also can makes me feel like vomit.
11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Western food - steak, in 3rd trimester.
12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? Nothing.
13. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD SEX? A boy.
14. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING? Yes. :P
15. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? I gained 9kg (19 pounds).
16. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Nope. We have a simple fullmoon celebration at home, at restaurant with families and a small party with church member together with baby dedication and prayer.
17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? I surprise on the whole pregnant process and baby moving in tummy.
18. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? A week upon end of my pregnancy, I got vaginal fungus infection. I need stuff med down-south and before complete the course, my baby was born.
19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre, Ampang.
20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? I was induced by taking drops coz my cervix not open. My labour lasted 16 hours. After taking drops, I still can eat and watch TV. My contraction pain only came 5 hours before giving birth.
21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? My hubby. It was midnight, accompanied with my mum too.
22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? My hubby.
23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural birth.
24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Just painkillers where they injected on my buttock once then I sleep and took laughing gas an hour more before give birth. No Epidural. Laughing gas did makes me dizzy and I almost no energy to push my baby out.
27. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH? 3.13kg
28. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN ? 20 May 2006
30. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? Terry

Thanks Mummy Gwen passing this tag to me and this is the 4th time I'm doing the simliar tag in this blog. Anyway, I will still do it and it is fun to know this little things in me.

1. I'm graduate as an Advance Diploma holder in Business Computing and worked in a Market Research Company as a Data Processing Exec. for 3 years time before become SAHM.
2. I raised in a small family, I only have an elder brother.
3. I like food with soup. Whatever soak in soup or soup itself I will like it, like soup noodles, soup dumpling and etc.
4. I love non-fried food more.
5. I'm tall (5"5'), but my feet is small. Shoe size is 4 or 5.
6. I always can't make decision in speed. As like when buying things, this or this better? Will take long time to decide and compare.
7. I can be very talkative and can be very quiet. So some people don't know me, may say I Action or Cool.

* Every 13 minutes a woman dies of breast cancer.

Yesterday Once More

Thanks Mummy Gwen for the tag. It did brought back lots of those memories and well, it just like happened yesterday ;)

1. In which month and year did you met your husband for the first time?
-> Forget which month (between middle to year end) at year 2001.

2. In which month and year did you two officially starting dating?
-> February 2002.

3. Where was the first dating place the two of you went to?
-> Sungei Wang, I think so ;p

4. What was the most touching thing he did to you when you two were still dating?
-> Well, he is not those type of guy who loves to pour in gifts and flower. Although in my heart I do love to have more...hahaha...But most important is the love and caring between two of us. Anything he did to me is touching just as simple as a phone call.

5. How about after your marriage?
-> He bought me a diamond ring after having Terry.

-> When I have post natal blue, whereby we have lots of arguement and disagreement on taking care of Terry and when accident happen to Terry not long ago.

Pluck this interesting tag from Chen Xi's mama blog and love to do it here. After being mama, I've bid good-bye to many of my high and low heels. Last time not quite use to wear flats, but after get used to it as I can run and walk faster, I start to love that now. Also, for the safety reason to myself and boy when I carry him, it is not good wearing heels. I feel like I can fall anytime.

Remember more than a year ago I was answered this special tag talking about what I'm expecting happen on 08.08.08.

Well I should say it did realise and it is exactly happen like I wrote. It is just that simple with a wish to have something special to happen. Overall at home nothing special, but today the whole world is putting the eyes on Beijing Olympic Games.
China choose to have this game on this auspicious day and at auspicious hour to official announce the grand opening. I keep telling myself prepare for the night earlier and get ready to watch the spectacular ceremony from TV on time. But, end up I holding my dinner plate in front of the TV.
So this is what happen at home. Morning wake up as usual, after settle down the small one then busy did some washing at kitchen while my mum prepare to roll the dough to do "Min Fan Kueh". Thats our lunch of the day.

Half way watching my mum doing it, I went online check mail, settle some ebay stuff and blog-hop plus chasing and playing with Terry (multi-tasking). Feed the little one mee suah, then our turn for lunch. Clean up everything, put Terry to sleep then back to the line and source for some business contact. On the phone call with my friend - Moon discuss about our plan in setting up a small business. Continue to source after the phone call ended till around evening. Start to clean up the house and go down to the park for a short walk with Terry.

Shower time and dinner time then stick on TV for the opening ceremony. It was a great and grand opening ever saw with huge number of performers combined with many hi-tech equipment use and firework plays a few KM away from the Bird Nest stadium. Received a good news from SMS. My friend giving birth to a baby girl. Congrats Shirley Lim. Couldn't stay longer to watch till all the country matching ended and the Olympic flame lit up in the stadium. Make milk for the boy and put him to sleep.

That's how I spend my simple day on 8th of August 2008 at home.
