Tiamo 1 Day Private Shopping

It has been sometimes I didn't joined warehouse sales crowd as most of the time I back with empty-hand. Last month, when I first saw the invitation of Tiamo Private Sales on fb, I told myself I must make it this time. I have been longing a pair of comfy Tiamo shoe, every time I walked in and tried, either the price or some design pull me back. Without further consideration, I registered myself and join the sales happen at Mid Valley on 25/10/2014, Saturday.

I reached there early before the mall open, for the first 100th in queue with registered name will get goodies bag worth RM200. When I reached the shop, there were many ppl queuing already. At the registration counter, we got the goodies bag number (to be redeem upon leaving, I was in the queue of #46), some vouchers and new member registration form. By the time past 10am, the crowd started to build up, I was tagging along my boy and entertain with ipad. Many nice shoe design, mixture or new and old design with 30%-40% discount and best buy too. I was busy trying and grabbing my type of shoe then pass it to the staff to ask for size. Luckily out of 3 pairs I choose, there was a pair having my size. Other than shoes, I also grab a handbag and wristlet (with purchase of any item, get wristlet at RM50 each). By the time want to check-out, again the queue is piling up. What to do, every girl wants a good thing and good sales, so got to be patient. With what I love and grabbed in hand, I don't mind to wait. Spending a good 1.5 hours inside the shop and brought back 3 of my favorite stuff. Here are my loots and the goodies bag ;)

H&M Kuala Lumpur

H&M, a famous brand in Asia originate from Sweden, it has now open its another Asia market in our homeland. Few years ago, I was once visited their first in Asia H&M outlet in Hong Kong, believe me the fashionista crowd is just the same crazy like in KL.

Last Saturday, after running some errand and I dropped by to H&M at Lot 10 for the very first time.
We still need to stopped at queue line for like 10-15 mins in order to get in. H&M took up to 3 floor space in Lot 10 Shopping Mall and it is the biggest outlet there. 2 floor for ladies wear and 3rd floor for Mens, Maternity, Babies and Kids Wear. The fashion style now is fall winter season, thus can't really find much of colourful and fashionable outfit.

I spend a good 1.5 hours there to check out and picked some to try. Price of its clothing for ladies and kids ranging from RM19.90 - RM150. Most of it are in the range of RM59.90-RM119. Clothing style from sleepwear, homewear to casual and formal you can find here. The Fitting Room queue is another round of waiting. Every floor there is fitting room, but the room is very less, thus the queue is long and waiting time is long too. Maximum 7 pcs you can bring in to try. If you can't wait long to fit there, you can actually paid and bring home to try. If you don't like it, you can choose to refund or return or exchange within 30 days with original receipt. I picked 7 pieces to try and I choose to buy this only.

Gap 1969

Recently Gap Malaysia is having an introduction to their 1969 Premium Jeans at Facebook here and in conjunction with that, they are having an activity to upload your numeral 1969 photo. To complete it, they need a total of 1969 photos joining in to celebrate their denim heritage.

This is my submission of the 1969 photo, taken at window display at KLCC Gap outlet.

At that round of time only reach 220+ photos and way long to go to reach the target and I thought that to receive their reward of voucher, I still need to wait. As stated in the T&C of the contest -
B.(5) When 1,969 Photographs are uploaded on Facebook, all Participants will receive 50% discount on all denim jeans ("Promotion"). Validity of offer will be stipulated upon prize notification. If the Participants utilize the Promotion, they will receive a RM30 Gap shopping voucher each. Participants will be informed of the method of redemption of the Promotion via Facebook.
Out of my expectation, I got an email on 2nd June with a subject "Gap - Thank you for your "1969" photo submission!" attached in with a 50% voucher offer to purchase for their 1969 series of jeans only.

This voucher only valid for 3 days. This just comes at the right time as I almost plan to get a new pair of jeans. On last Saturday night, I quickly went Gap at The Gardens and choose my 1969 skinny jeans.

After discount is RM114.50. I like the jeans color very much and it is light weighted. With this purchase I also get a RM30 cash voucher. It is just such a great deal! now I got to think what to buy there next round as it valid till 30th June.

The contest is still running till the total target of photos reach. The most creative entry would win the Grand Prize of two (2) return flight tickets to San Francisco. Each participant can submit five (5) different Photographs only.

Shop from Gymboree

Gymboree, a baby and kids fashion brand that not found in Malaysia. Thanks to Mummy Moon who has been started organizing group buy since sometimes ago. Now, I can enjoy some top quality clothing for Terry with cheaper price.

So far here are my loots, all bought during sales.

The item price (inclusive of shipping cost from US and US-RM conversion rate) comes almost the same and some are even cheaper than the regular brand I got here. Just like the green vest, it is hardly to get that kind of design here and it is only RM35!

After a few bought from Gymboree, I think I will stick to shop here first before I scroll down to the mall. What I will do now is, mark down some favorite items and when sales almost here will send my shopping list to Mummy Moon and she will do the rest. Once again, thanks Mummy Moon for the great effort in helping many of the mummies out there for kids clothes shopping.

Prepare for CNY

Counting down to less than 20 days, Chinese New Year will be here. So far these are what I have done. Few days ago, got a paid-time cleaner to clean my dirty house. Ya, it was real dirty one, especially the windows. It has not been clean for a year long! She was here for 3.5 hours and she has really lighten all the tough chores that I'm going to take a few weeks to do. Window's curtain all been wash and all in clean and fresh now. Others area left a bit more to do.

For festive food, favor and gift pack, I'm not going to shop a lot this year. It was really so hassle for the past years, so many things to bring. Comes to shopping for new clothes it sure cannot be left out. I was thought that I won't get any great deal and sales on my CNY new clothing. To my surprise when I stroll down to IOI Mall Puchong last weekend alone (also my first attempt to drive to shopping mall by myself :P) I bought back these with great discount too.

Photobucket

Skinny Jean from Bossini RM69.50 (after -50%) and Capri pant from FOS RM22.50 (after -50%). My first pair of skinny jeans and to my surprise I can fit in the size waist 27" *chuckled* (Shiok sendiri, maybe this is big cutting one). Padini Group also got member sales, all normal price items on 20% less and some other items with greater discount too. Bought 2 tops and one of it is a red one. CNY must get a RED festive colour. Only CNY I will buy Red.

P&Co. turtle neck top, RM79.20 (after -20%). A bit expansive to me. After think so long and check out others too before getting this. Love the light and soft material and most important not body hugging type. The other top casual T got a 50% off.

Another set of new year cloth from Liz Boutique at Bandar Puteri, Puchong (Jalan Puteri 1/4). Not that I know, this boutique was own by a local TV host. Total damage here RM95 for top and legging over heel. Plan to get a belt for this top. It is too loose and looks big at the waist area, really looks like preggy.

I still haven't shop for Terry one. Will get him some tops only, pants still got new one. This weekend hopefully can get it done at Isetan or Mid Valley, also planning to go for a restyling hair-cut later.

Bad...bad...I’m starting to get uncomfortable on my nose and throat since yesterday. I'm expecting I will fall sick soon.

Welcome 2010

Happy 2010 to everybody, how did the new year new days has going on with you so far?

New Year eve, we not went anyway to count down and see fireworks beneath us. Me and my brother (hubs too tired, rest early) brought Terry to OUG Pasar Malam for the first time. A new thing to him to shop under the night lights. For myself, I think got 4 years long I'm not visiting Pasar Malam. It was quite a pleasant one to shop as compared to last time when those days pirated VCD were hot selling, loud speakers everywhere playing songs. I found many cute-cute stuff now, jewellery accessories, crocs shoe and etc..bought an UV protection arm sleeve and a 3x3 square Rubik's cube puzzle (RM10) for the boy. He was happy with it and wants to go again.

When the clock strike 12am, Terry was busy searching the firework noise. It was too far away from us but still able to watch it. Staying at the height of 10th floor, we able to spot 7 places fireworks all over at PJ side. When its over, we hit the sack at 12.20am.

Next day, we woke up as usual. When we woke up daddy was already busy with his sales reports. We have a quick brunch then headed to Genting Highland. Another first time for Terry to the place and experience some cold weather. He slept through the journey. We only explore the First World Hotel and not go outdoor. To our surprise, the crowd is just as usual, the weather is at 15'C.

Views from the Caterpillar ride

Happy with the ride and wants more

After spending a good 4 hours there for 2 rides (Monorail and Rides de Paris), walking up and down, queue for ticket and rides and a tea time, we head back to KL for dinner at 6pm. Terry also slept through the back journey, I think he found the car ride was too dizzy and too long for him.

Nowadays daddy hardly have time to brought us out. Indeed this trip was so precious to us for family bonding. That's how we spent our New Year holiday =)

Thomas Train track toy

Thomas Train toys are famous on building railway tracks and building train island. These toys are normally suitable for age 3+ to play. So far in Terry's Thomas toy collection, he only has a very few toys for under 3 years old. Everytime when we pass by Thomas toy display, he was so interested in those big set of train track, but I never get that for him simply because it is not suitable for him to play yet. Even those die-cast train model also not getting.

Now he is 3.5 years have the "license" to play the big set. Since a few shopping trips ago I've been started to check out some track sets. Last 2 weeks during Isetan sales, after looking left, right, up, down on the Thomas toys, finally I found one that he'll likes to play. It's a Thomas & Bertie Take Along "The Great Race" Set. I'm sure this is up to his taste, since he likes slide and race so much.

This set so far I don't think I saw before in other department stores that I visited. Isetan is on 30% sales on selected Thomas's toy, this set is the last piece on the shelve. It was RM119.90 before less. I top up another die-cast metal train - ROSIE for him to race with the other 2. True enough he heart this new toy very much and no one can touch or play after the whole thing setup. I love the design of it too, it is less pieces to build up and the covered bridge also work as a storage case.

There goes to this Thomas fan, it was his first piece of expansive toy.

My New Found Love

For the strong UV sunlight nowadays, I need a pair of sunglasses...My choice - Elle Sunglasses for its chic and stylish frame. My first cheapo sunglasses is no where found and seen (probably sold together to the used car dealer already). Bought this at Focus Point during the recent big sales (3/5) at RM210 after 50% less.

Next, for the frustration of having blur pic with my active boy and snapping blur close-up shoot, I need an all handy, anti-shake, slim, light, multi-functions with high MP camera. My choice - Olympus mju 1070, latest model from Stylish µ series. My first solely own gadget. Got this at Fotokem Digital Fest recently (7/6) for RM899. No discount or best price but comes with free 4GB microSD card and some extra freebies.

µ 1070 - compact digital camera incorporating a 12-megapixel and Olympus-original TruePic III image processing engine, 3X optical zoom lens in a stylish, ultra-slim body with a depth of just 16.5 mm and a slide-barrier design. Beauty mode to enhance the appearance of the human face.
Tripod, camera clean cloth, flash light and extra camera case

I'm still in the midst of playing and test shooting many object with it. This will gonna be an extra item to bring in my bag wherever I go. Hopefully got more pic to share in my blog soon. I'm in another k broke =P so no shopping for the next 2 months *blek*
