Bye 2009!

Today 31st Dec mark the last day of year 2009, so far have you accomplished any of your wishes and plan that you want for this year?

Looking back in these 365 days, it was quite a smooth sailing year for me; everything was on an average side, which I couldn't ask for more. The most important, I got to Thank God for keeping us safe, peace and healthy. That's already the greatest blessing.

Year 2009 will end in less than 5 hours, let me count my blessing for what I have done so far and for which have not really complete yet, hopefully I can make it happen and a better one for the coming days.

(March)
Started to drive again after putting it down for 5-6 years
- I’m glad I can pick up the driving skill smoothly after stopped driving for many years. Thanks to my parent for helping me to gain the confidence back in driving. But the skill still yet to improve. So far, I still need ppl to accompany me to drive far.

(June)
Achieve a Manager level in Nefful Business
- Make a little achievement to earn small pocket money and have my own free time to work on it. So far I love this business nature and plan. I will work hard on it in coming years and climb higher for it.

(Dec)
Little luck + surprise on winning a luxury bag
- I never put high hope on contest, but this really something surprises me and sooo lucky after so long not winning anything.

Trip to Singapore with friend*
- It was one of the agenda not planned for this year. But I’m glad to go travel with a friend, other than always going with family members. We really have all the fun we want without kids and family along. *yet to update

Apart from the above, as in overall this year most of the time I’m busy involve in Nefful business like attending course and meeting to gain more marketing knowledge and understand the products. Also, our health got the biggest change, as I make the right investment for health in wearing Negative ION clothing.

Notice that, this year I make the least personal posts in my blog. There were more paid reviews float in between, it does looks so good, but still doesn't makes a decent income. Anyway thanks to the advertisers that still keep this coming and continue giving us blogger a chance to earn chicken feed.

For Terry, in 3 more days, he will be a schooling kid. He needs to start to get independent in school and take in a brand new routine in his life. For his scar appearance, it looks much better, but I still go on the treatment work (don’t know when to stop) till I see the scar colour is near to skin. His health condition is at optimum this year as compare to last year.

In the year of 2010, these are the plan I have, wish me luck and by God's mercy, hopefully I can accomplish everyone of them.
1. Complete reading the whole Bible
2. Serve more in church
3. Exercise more often to maintain health and weight
4. Achieve Area Manager level in Nefful business
5. Join Terry Fox Run with family
6. Bring my parent's and family for a trip with all paid by moi =)
7. Learn face make-up and take up course

This will be my final post for 2009, I still have some pending posts for this year to do and wrap up, but don't think can complete it by now. I know I'm pretty lag in updating my blog in this entire year, let me get the time to write it up soon next year.

So the new year gonna to be here, let us leave behind what we don't need to carry and head start for a brand new year with faith and new hopes. Here is a wishing that your coming year is a glorious one that rewards all your future endeavors with success.

Till then wishes everyone who reading this,

A VERY HAPPY SPARKLING NEW YEAR 2010 !!!

Mummy Blogger & Kids Christmas Gathering

It was another wonderful round of Blogger Mum gathering which I'm looking forward happened on 17th Dec (Thurs). We have it at Mid Valley Megamall with Mummy Moon, Mummy Gwen and Cynthia and not left out together with the bunch of happy kids to meet up in this jolly season.

While waiting

First, we have lunch at Kenny Rogers before we proceed for other programs. Notice we always ate Kenny Rogers ya? Reason being the place is comfy and the food is suitable for the kiddo too with varieties. Terry was no shy at all being the first time having a small baby princess in the gathering. He was also the 'thorn among the roses' that day *wink*

There is a photo session with Santa at 12.30pm, we brought the kids for it right after the lunch. It was for charity, RM10 per shoot with the photo, a helium balloon and gift from Santa.

Last year, the boy was not very ok with the shoot. This time round, with Gwen, Yan Yan and Breanna along and I did told him before hand about this shoot, I thought he was more ok to join by seeing others doing it.

Yan Yan and Gwen put on the cloak for shooting, very cute!

Not that I know, he got so horrible fraid of the Santa. Once we step on the stage to get ready for it, he gave a loud scream and kept pulling my hand to walk away. I think the Santa must have remember him by now, there is no way to comfort and coaxing him to go for it with me. So there when we walk away from it, he was alright again.

There go, he is more comfortable with his little friends. Later we went over the Boulevard Hotel to give more rooms for the kids to do gift exchange.

Christmas tree at Boulevard Hotel

Can't wait for the gift exchange

Gwen always ready with her signature pose

They also have the fun time to run around and play with the balloons.

The kiddos continue to have some rides and games fun at Jusco amusement park. We called it a day after the collection of photo with Santa earlier on and we bid good-bye as it was the time for the kids to rest too.

Terry can't wait to unwrap all the pressie once we got back home. He loves all the gift very much. Many thanks to all mummies for taking time to join this gathering and sending the thoughful gifts. Thanks Cynthia for the delicious yogurt banana cake too (the cake is so tempting till I gobble it down without a snap...silly me =.= )

It was definitely a happy and fun day to everyone of us and we were not shy to each other as like we have known for so long time ago. Hope to catch up with all of you soon with others mummy and kids.

TwoPixels is ONE!

I came to know TwoPixels Photography since they born and all this while I keep follow closely their photography projects on newborn, baby, pregnancy, children and family shoot. Really, I admired every single piece of their lovely shoot which is so creative, so natural, so touching and say thousand of words. The hard works behind are done by these 2 lovely mummies – Jasmine and Sue. Their passion through the lens has successfully capture many precious moments for others.

I never go boring browsing photos, TwoPixels's photos I can go reading it again and again. Their photography work is truly an awesome and professional one. Some are real touching shoot and believe me it does put a smile on my face. They need not to have any fancy background or tools, yet they can get the picture done out in the most natural and comfortable way to view. Two thumbs up to their creativity!

How I wish to get them to work on my very first family portrait. We seldom took picture in 3, out of those we have, not many are good one. I wish I'm the lucky one to win a free photo session on this Anniversary Giveaway and make a better one to keep for memory.

They are here for a year time, here wishing TwoPixels Happy 1st Anniversary. In conjunction of this celebration, they are giving away 3 free photography session to bloggers. If you're interested, act now, details are here.

Merry Christmas !!!

Wishing all my blog readers and friends,

MERRY CHRISTMAS
&
HAPPY HOLIDAY !!!

Behind the jolly celebration of Christmas, hope the true meaning of Christmas reminded you and me the born of Jesus Christ, HE, the greatest gift of love from the Father for the salvation of the world.

Fruity Tau Fu Fa

It was a hot Sunday afternoon after my Christmas shopping trip. The outing was always not complete without something wash down my throat. Before heading home in the evening time, we make a turn into OUG garden and hunt for something to yak.

Bump into a mobile van selling tau fu fa (豆腐花) park next to BHP Petrol at Jalan Hujan Rahmat 3 (opposite Retaurant Ah Loy, selling curry mee). I thought it was just another van selling regular silky white tau fu fa, to my surprise it was not. There got a few choices of fruity tau fu fa and some other with flavoured one.

Pandan flavoured tau fu fa RM2.30

Mango tau fu fa RM2.80

Other flavour they have are like strawberry, kiwi, chocolate, lemon, longan and etc..sorry I can only remember these. There are more than 8 choices of flavour you can choose from, of cause they still have the regular one. The tau fu fa is not too sweet and just nice to match with the flavour. I will sure back for another round for other flavour, but I think is a bit pricey for this small bowl :P

PayPal PowerUp Party

This party was the first ever PayPal Asia Community event here in Malaysia. Needless to say, I'm proud to be one of the invited guest, there are many more members who wants to go but their RSVP-ed got rejected due to limited space. The night, there are roughly 250+ ppl at the club.

I'm just a small potato in Paypal network, where I only use it to receive my online funds, withdraw funds and making payment on those purchases from eBay. Currently Paypal is on the way of expanding and enhancing its function for online business and at the same time helping merchants and protect buyers.

The night, there are many making fortune merchants gather there. I even met my secondary schmate who was working full time in her eBay International business. She shared with us her ups and downs with eBay and Paypal. Knowing that now both eBay and Paypal are very strict and before any risk happen to seller, they immediatedly stop seller from listing, remove listed item for certain reason or freeze account. I roughly know about this restriction too since I'm selling in eBay.

OK, lets see what's up on the party. Due to traffic jam at city centre, we only reach there at 7.45pm.

Candle lit all way up

The place is exactly at the same stairway up to entrance of Tamarind Hill Restaurant.

Photobucket
Upon entry and registration, we received a passport wallet with the event schedule inside and 3 games vouchers.

Photobucket

Free flow of drink and dinner were served throughout the night. There were beer, wine and chilled juices. Dinner was a bit out of my expectation, they only served some finger foods, anyway it is quite special and taste ok.

The programme

The games are -
Wheel of Fortune - Can spin 1 time only, many gift items on the board and for cash there are RM10 and RM50. We got a stress ball and notepad back.

Photobucket

Grab A Grand - Put your hand into a blow fan box, stir the paper up in the air and grab the flying papers as much as you can for up to 3 times. Those papers are printed with numbers which indicate the amount of cash. We both successfully grab RM42.

Photobucket
Big Man in action

Deal or No Deal - Pick 3 envelopes out of 6. The 1st envelope actually determine the price you will get, after revealing yourself the later 2 envelopes price. It is either you deal the offer given by the game master or take the envelope price you choose. We both deal for a total of RM60.

Photobucket
Follow your heart or brain?

Everyone gets to play all games for once and no one back with empty handed. All in all, we only manage to grab back RM102. Mummy Moon got around RM250. It is all depends how good are you with the games, especially at the Grab a Grand, those good hand are able to grab RM70-80+.

There is only 1 grand winner on the lucky draw round, cash prize worth RM10k. We no luck for it. Another prize round was about guessing the item price. The one who got the nearer price guessed to the actual item price will win back the item. In between, there are short speech by Paypal's management and Merchant Award presentation ceremony. Trophies were presented to those top sales online seller and longest community members with Paypal.

Overall it is a good party. I like it whereby no loud music background and guests are comfortable as in overall. We got no time to sit down and relax as everyone busy queue up to finish the games and it is almost comes to the end of the party when all program finish.

Before we left, we each got a big box of door prize consists of a collar T and a zip case.

It was unexpectedly nice and I was so surprise when I open up the case and found a very nice set of USB gadgets. There is a 4 ports slim hub, mouse, AV earphone, device cable and network connector.

We truly enjoy the event, indeed it is fruitful night without paying a single cent. Well done to Paypal! Hopefully you are here again next year to celebrate another great time round at a bigger venue to accommodate more members. Besides that, may be can host some related e-business talk and workshop to equip us with more knowledge and benefit of being an online merchant.

Short Getaway to Singapore

I will be away for a short trip (3 days 3 nights) to Singapore with Mummy Moon leaving the hubs and kids at home... (muahahaha)

This is my 3rd time visit Singapore and also accompany Moon for the first time. We pretty need this trip to refresh and recharge ourself from the hectic housewife life. Hey, don't think a SAHM don't need this, we also very stress out at home facing the house and kids every day. We plan to do shopping, meeting friends, go Night Safari and Sentosa Island. During our absent, the kids will be in good hand of our parents.

This evening we will broad on Aeroline Express bus and return on Sunday before midnight. I hope we can have a great time to do what we like during the days away from home and kids.

Till then, have a nice weekend to all!

ParenThots Family Day

Last Saturday (28/11) went to ParenThots Family Day at Bangsar together with Moon & Yan Yan. I know all about this from her and since I'm not join this kind of public event before, I think it is a good chance for me and the boy to explore this fun day.

We reached there about 10.30am and thank God the sky was pretty fine when the event starts (in the morning it was quite gloomy, I'm worried if still rain sure we cannot make it).

Photobucket

We were there also to give support to Mummy Merryn, her crafty-craft booth was participate in the event to demostrate some art works. Once we reached, we saw Merryn's booth from far with the attractive banners. I came to know Merryn not long ago. This art talented mummy does lots of art works with her 2 years old boy. I'm glad to meet her and her family that day.

Clowns sculpturing balloons

KUNTUM mascot

There are games, free goodies, free food tasting, clowns and inflatables. Terry not really enjoy all this. Basically he not saw all this before and it is totally new to him. He afraid of the 2 colourful clown and kept hiding behind me. When brought him over to bounce at the inflatable house with other kids, he scared again, even Yan Yan keep pulling him in he also don't want to play. Till other kids went off, only by then he got warm up and join in.

Photobucket

We went round to play all games that suitable for them like the games like darts, penalty shootout (football), buzz wire, catch a fish, throw rings over the bottles and etc. The boy of cause no patient to queue up and wait. When wanted to play, he just keep waiting beyond the first queue, beside the table and wanted to play immediatedly by pulling my hand to reach out the games for him to play. Of cause I don't do that, luckily he not cried bucket and the booth assistant is kind enough to let this small boy to play. Since he cut queue, I also didn't let the boy to take the allocation time for each games, just let him touch it, play and go. I think I need to teach him what is queue up and wait for your turn things.

So far he is still a scary-cat, need me to accompany him to play all games and go everywhere. He was happy when he gets some goodies from the games booth. Lastly, we dropped by Merryn's craft booth and she guided the kids to fold Origami.

We left the place at 11.45am without spending on anything :P
