Soya Sauce Stew Pork

Although not so interested at cooking, but I still manage to do some of my "expert" cook. One of it is Stew Pork. Just share with you the recipe here, hope u too can try this delicious dish. Sorry to Malay fren if u reading this. Non-Halal.

Ingredients : ( Served for 2-4 persons )
  1. ½ Chinese Cinnamon stick
  2. Dong-guai
  3. Garlic
  4. 川弓
  5. Star Anise (baht gok) - used only 3-4 petal
  6. Egg - cook by no. of ppl having/ up to your favorable
Pork - select the meat part with a bit fat and with skin. Try not to choose lean meat.
(Do not slice the meat before cook!)
Soya sauce

How to make Stew Pork: -
  1. Full boil the eggs and remove the shell.
  2. Add in ¾ water cover the meat and put all the ingredients together with eggs and meat.
  3. Add in 4 soup spoon full of soya sauce.
  4. When everything is full boiling, tune the stove fire to the minimum to slow cook it until the meat turn soft. Normally about 1.5 hours, depends on the meat size.
  5. While it boiling, in the meantime u can turn upside-down the meat, so that it equally cook.
  6. Try to taste the soup, add in salt accordingly.
  7. Take out the meat, let cold and cut it into small pieces.
  8. After cut into small, put back all in the pot and boil again, to let each pieces taste better. It is up to u whether u want to boil it again.

Done! The overall taste is near to Bak Kut Teh. Hope u like it!
