My last post...

This tag really so a bit "dai kat lai si" to talk about. sss1979 tag me again. I really didn't think of what to do before one day I die, until this point want to write it out. So sad to write about it actually.

So, only if I know I'm going to KO exactly when, here are the things I want to do....

1. Arrange someone experience to take care Terry. May be my parent or nanny.
2. Tell everyone that I'm going to leave them and I will miss them and love them forever. Perhaps write them each a letter.
3. Unfinished list of people I want to thanks and say sorry to.
4. Wanted hubby to accept Christ and continue to lead Terry to Christ when he grows up, as I want all of us to be at the same place with God.
5. Carry a photo of all my family members.
6. My finger with my wedding ring on.
7. Eat all I want to eat, go where I want to go.
8. Proper arrangement of all my property nominees.
9. Ask hubby to show Terry this blog, this is his beloved mummy. Let him know how she grow with him.
10. Lastly, thanks for all bloggers who happen to read my life story and giving all sort of support.

Sob....sob :'( really can't write anymore... *eye starting to get wet* Don't feel tagging anyone.

Dining out

It has been long time me and my family not dining out. As promise to my mum I will treat her a birthday dinner. Since last week I need to go for traditional chinese doctor there, so postponed.

5 of us except hubby not joining us. We have it at a normal chinese cook restaurant at Serdang. Restaurant Serdang Home-Made, they open from 4.30pm-2.00am. It is a house previously, they turn it to a restaurant by opened up all side walls. Here is the place where me and hubby love to eat during my pregnant time, a few times a week there, as their food is fresh and cheap. We reached there at 7pm. The moment we finish ordering the food, the place is full house. Some customers walk in later need to wait for seat.

I let Terry sit on his stroller, he just sit there nicely, but after a while he sweating, very hot, so I changed him to sit on the high-chair. This is the first time eat out officially sit on high chair for long. Since he couldn't sit up nicely yet, so I tied him with a nappy cloth at the chest line. He happily sit on it and clap on the high chair table. So, me and my mum on and off feed him some rice and fish, as he sitting there wondering and 'mum-mum-mum-mum'.

We ordered 4 dishes comes with free soup, we finish up all with nothing left. When the time want to pay, guess what I can't find my purse and handphone, gosh! I left it at my parent's home. So, my brother paid for the dinner first. Must be so 'kan cheong' to go for dinner forget to check things...Today my dad will send back my purse and phone to me...so careless mum...Every Sunday, I myself need to carry 2 bags, stoller and bring Terry. Without my parents help, I couldn't go church with big small stuff. Sometimes if I tumpang buy things, even more to carry. So can forgive la, if sometime left things...but surely won't left Terry somewhere and forget to bring back..haha...

Margerine better or Butter?

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back. It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings.

DO YOU KNOW...the difference between margarine and butter?

BUTTER

1. Both have the same amount of calories.

2. Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams.

3. Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

4. Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.

5. Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!

6. Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

7. Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.

And now, for Margarine..

1. Very high in trans fatty acids.

2. Triple risk of coronary heart disease.

3. Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol)

4. Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold.

5. Lowers quality of breast milk.

6. Decreases immune response.

7. Decreases insulin response. And here's the most disturbing fact....

8. Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC..

This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

You can try this yourself:
Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)
* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it

Even those teeny weeny micro-organisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Traditional chinese medical said....

Every night during my sleep, my right whole palm sure get numb and every morning I need to do some palm twisting before I can really sense on what I touch. Not only that, sometimes short nap also numb. This happen since long long time ago and I didn't really go and find out what causes that. Until last Sunday morning, the numbness is getting terrible until the bone further up of my palm got swollen inside and pain. This time must get some medication on.

In the evening, went to the well-known traditional chinese medical doctor who shift from Lumut, Pangkor since last year. His very popular, his name is 郭永华 nick name "虾哥" (Ha gor). Very good in medicate heart disease. Unlike western style, where you pain, kill the pain. Once he check your veins, he can tell you accurately whats wrong with you and not only the sickness that you carry. From there, he able to tell every of your organ whether it is working well. He said my blood circulation is very slow and low blood pressure. The numbness can cure by not sleeping on pillow.
See this is how he taught, fold the towel and the neck area lie on the folded area, to get head to toe sleep in the straight line, helps to straighten the nerves back. Need to eat less in more times to eliminate the stomach pain, don't get too nervous and stress in doing things and sleep more the better (*hinting that I stay late night...what else? PPP lorr....) The result, immediatedly the night I sleep without pillow the numbness gone and the swollen bone area is recover the next day. My mum did try to do it as she also having numbness, the next day she also not getting any numbness. So you can try on if you having such problem. After all the doctor told us that, we human is better to sleep at hard platform and without pillow.
Medicine, of cause herbal tea. 5 packs, drinks for 5 days as a full course and 2 times a day. Since Monday I have been boiling and boiling these herb tea day and night. Uhh....bitter tea, very hard to drink la...

36 ways to reduce stress

An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happens tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."

1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say "No" to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Jesus."
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

After reading this feel so stress? Start practising it from 1 to 36 :P

Lil toe

Soon you will take your first step by your own and mummy is eagerly looking forward for the day comes and hold your hand, walk together step-by-step and grow with you.

Friday the 13th

How are you today? Anything bad happen to you? or sailing smooth? Anyway no matter what you have going through today, as you may notice that today is 13th Friday, the "Black Friday".

According to Wikipedia, it is a bad luck day. The history of 13th Friday is actually related to Christian and bible. Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit on a Friday, and died on a Friday, this is the origin come from. In a region, there is a conclusion found that:
Friday 13th is unlucky for some.

The risk of hospital admission
as a result of a transport accident
may be increased by as much as
52 percent.

Staying at home is recommended.

I don't know how much you believe and affected on this day. In the case, you are guilty by labeling Friday the 13th "the unluckiest day of all," so the best is to spent in the safety of one's own home with doors locked, shutters closed and fingers crossed. This year, there is another Black Friday fall on 2nd Friday of July.

Till this point I'm dropping this post, I'm sailing smooth. I hope you too.

Time to change

My previous old blogger template

Have been talking about changing new template since sometimes ago. Now, finally done. This is not the choice of my target earlier. Have been search for many free templates and testing it out. Really hard to decide which one I like to use, as I’m prefer something plain and simple. 2 days ago, start shifting over all my stuff from old template to here. And, doing a lot of adjusting and testing.

These are the few free blogger templates website that I come across. If you plan to change your template, can have a look here.

As an Employee

This is quite true, as an employee work under bosses and stress, most likely we are having this attitude: -

* the biggest motivation is salary
* the unluckiest thing is promotion without salary adjustment
* the most "shiok" thing is you don't work anyhow also get pay increment
* the greatest talent is "carry big stuff"
* the greatest mistake is to argue with your boss
* the most demoralising thing is to receive salary late
* the most pitiful thing is you did not get your salary and your boss ran away
* the happiest thing is you become your boss' boss
* the cleverest thing is you are late but boss doesn't know
* the stupidest thing is you publicly say that you are lazy
* the most common thing is - the boss says somethingbut means another
* the proudest thing is you sack your boss
* the most "rugi" thing is you work hard but your colleague takes the credit
* the most dangerous thing is to become a "two-headed" snake
* the biggest satisfaction - sending e-mail like this during office hours!! heheheheheheheh. ...

Got this email and thought that it is quite funny to share.

Cooking instant noodle

I bet many of you are using the wrong way to cook instant noodle, me too. Yes, we know the instant noodle is not good to a certain extend that the pack of powder of making the soup, and the mee too. I received this email from my cousin in-law and might sounds true on cooking method.

WRONG METHOD (X)
Normally, when we cook the instant noodles, we normally put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for around 3 mins and then ready to eat. This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles. By doing this, we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG. This will change the molecular structures of the MSG causing it to be toxic. The other thing that you may not realized is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.

CORRECT METHOD
The CORRECT method, which you should know is to cook the noodles this way:-
1. Boil the noodles in a pot with water.
2. Once the noodles is cooked, take out the noodles and throw away the water which contains wax.
3. Boil another pot of water till boiling and put the noodles into the hot boiling water and then shut the fire.
4. Only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredient with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup.
5. However, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles and add the ingredient with the powder and toss it to get dry noodles.

Hope this piece of information is of importance to your health and please apply this cooking method with immediate effect. Yse, although the correct method takes time and it sounds not instant hor? So, eat less and do the correct way.

Shop alone

Happen on last weekend. Saturday was a public holiday but hub need to work. Morning my mum, dad and brother went to my granpa & grandma's tomb in Jalan 222, PJ. After they done, mum came to visit me, so I got a chance to went shopping while my mum can look after Terry for few hours.

After lunch, took cab and went by myself to Mid Valley. Long time didn't go there, since last time I worked there for 2 years plus, seldom go shop MV if not working. But, the recent shopping, I feel MV is new to me again. Since now got sales and I have a shopping list on hand, so just go and see what can grab.

Walking alone, up and down in the mall. Mainly get things for Terry and for the house. One of those wanted to tell here. I bought 3 rugs and when paid, all 3 same prices RM15.90, the cashier miss out to scan for 1 of the rug. I came home check the receipt only realised it. This is the second time I shop with item missed scan. Last time at Isetan, KLCC the top about RM50 missed scan, so means free la...but it is strange that the alarm at the entrance no sound one. I think the alarm will only sound when the magnet attached to the item not being remove, but item unpaid won't sound.

Went home after 3 hours walk. Rush home before rain and cook dinner. Damn tired. Get ready for tomorrow morning back to Seremban for Cheng Ming.

Cheng Ming

Wake up early 5am morning. Pack Terry's stuff and pack the flower that I'm going to bring along. 2 bouquet, one for hub's grandma another one for my MIL. Manage to get out the house at 6am. Reach Seremban, Mambau at 7am sharp. Need to wait for others to reach the meeting point. My past experience was jam for hours all the way from the meet up point to the cemetery for just about 2-3km. Thats why we want to reach early and get there without stuck in the hell jam.

Who knows we wait them at the meeting point for 1 hour, others reach and still go for breakfast. Aiyoh, I already so rush in heart wanted to go n back fast as bring along Terry is not easy for him to stay in the car for long and knowing the way there will jam up like crazy. After they finish breakfast, 3 cars follow each other, drive up not to 500m away from meeting point, started to jam. Crawling like ant, I was like..Ohh...when are we going to reach. That time is already 8.30am. Half way crawling, there are cars over-taking, since there is less car coming from opposite way. We don't over take just stay in the line. The sky is cloudy and I predict that will rain soon. After half an hour, ohh my goodness, really rain, heavy too..jam + rain = more jam, the car totally stop there, no ant crawl at all. So, this time we over-take cars, till a point that all car jam up and occupied to the opposite lane too. The opposite car cannot even passed thru, geng or not. All cars only heading to the cemetery, the cars coming out from there got stuck. Since can't move, all stop there. People starts getting down from the car, bring the praying things and walk to the cemetery when the rain almost stop.

Finally, saw the traffic police there to instruct the traffic and the cars get moves, but still slow and crawling. Reach the cemetery and start praying almost at 11am. Really siao! luckily Terry no big drama in the car. I just entertain him all the way. Car can drive up to the front of the tomb, we park our car nearby then bring Terry down for a while (still a bit rain, but can go without umbrella), after I place my flower to the tomb, never get to stand for longer, we run back to the car, as Terry cry with the fire cracker noise. So, while waiting others to settle it, I stir cereal and feed cereal in the car.

Outside full of burning smoke and joystick smell and some are playing fire cracker there. After done, we went for lunch at Seremban town before heading to Nirwana Memorial Park for my late MIL. Went there no jam, but a lot of ppl too, under the hot sun. We not going down elsewhere until we drive near to the tomb. I sent the flower, stand a while with Terry under 3 big umbrella then we aircon in car. Really hard to bring a small baby out to place like this. Next year, I won't be bringing him along. I was think of not bring him along, since I suggested that to hub, he just keep quiet..so no respond means go lor, for the first time ok, I respect enough. Next time don't get him to suffer this. Whole day in the car, without having any comfortable nap.

Everything done, all the way back, crawling traffic again at Semenyih. Reach home at 5pm. Everybody very tired. I was headache as go under the rain without umbrella. I pray hard for Terry not get sick.

10 reasons why I choose my hubby

Before I got to tag sss1979, so fast she give me another one. So, Nicole you owe my 2 tag ya! This tag got to write 10 reasons why I choose my hubby.

1. He know computer. Yes, even I also in IT but he know more than me. We get close after the time he taught me on my college project. He is smart in computer, no matter hardware and software.

2. He is a family minded man. After we pak toh for not so long, he have plan to married me. Although to me is quite fast in making decision, but we still spend 3 years time to get know each other.

3. Having a healthy lifestyle. I hardly exercise until I together with him. I love gym after that. But now no longer having precious time for gym.

4. He is not smoking and heavy drinker. But he really can drink and hardly get drunk. Most important he is not smoking.

5. Have a stable job and career that I less to worried on our financial after having family.

6. His taste, interest and hobby with mine is almost near.

7. He give me more suggestion and solution when I need.

8. Always find new things to do, that don't bored me.

9. In some way that, he always look for the best deal in lowest cost and free stuff. Eg like, looking for the cheapest trip and yet can go for many days and places, buy things rather buy cheaper than the expensive one, as the cheap one get spoilt, it won't feel wasted so much. As the price for the expensive one can get a few of the cheapest one. Download movies instead of going to cinema or buy pirated VCD.

10. Lastly, of cause he loves me and sacrifies for me and Terry.
