6 months old

Weight: 8.24kg (on 20-Nov-06)
Long: 73cm

Terry is half year old!!! he is growing bigger and stronger now since after solid. Currently still taking 1 time solid and 3 times milk per day with 5.5oz each time. Up to today Terry has tasted on Nestlé Rice Cereal (plain fav), porridge, bayam (yin choi), apple, banana, carrot and potato. Will still stick to this few food till next week until I introduce him other new food. Doc hav mention to us he can change to Step 2 (6-12 months) milk powder at anytime now, as Step 2 milk powder contain more protein than fat. Currently he is still having DutchLady FrisoGold 1.

He is more and more active now. While he is in the baby coat he just turn and turn. Put him into walker, he able to walk a bit, but to the side way and reverse way (check out the youtube). First few days a bit scare, not dare to kick and very fast get tired. Can't sit with own support yet. Lately bring him to botak again, as his head sweat a lot and makes him feel hot...with botak he looks more clean. Anyway I know is not that cute without hair (some said not nice without hair) but dun worry his hair is growing fast. Likes to look at ppl mouth when ppl eating in front of him...Anything that near him he will grasp on, if he can't reach the thing, he will move his body by turning until he got it. Can hold milk bottle and drink by himself by leaning on my arm. Poo-ed 2-3 times per day. Love to smile, laugh out loud and talk in his language. Currently can make more sounds other than mmm and ma ma, mum mum...blow out with saliva bubbles on the lips. Drop saliva when sit for long. Now he is not so easy to cry when stranger carry him.

wau...he is far more advance than Darren. I started solids on him pretty late and he still can't hold his bottle to drink yet but he can really push his bottle away when he didn;t want it anymore.

Seems like walker is not really advisable to give to bb nowadays since many accidents occured with walker. Also, read somewhere said that walker can't help bb to learn how to walk. So far I have one used walker, still thinking should I give it to Darren. Looking at Terry's video on walker is so funny and cute. Maybe I should let him try tomorrow..hehe...

I let him hold since he can hold on things firm and when I let him hold, he hold it very very tight.

Yes, at first I was not so like to have walker...1 thing house small not much space for him to run around n walker can't used for long...but his daddy and popo keep on saying need to have one for him, so just bought a simple one...just let him play 10 minutes a day..and I watch out very close, so that he won't knock n fall..he very fast feel boring in walker..once he stop moving I will take him out...now he can kick very fast...hope it helps to make him sit with own support...
