A quick brunch at Ole-Ole Bali @ Soho KL

Monday ago was a public holiday, aside hubby very very busy working on his office documents at home, he still took the time to bring us out. Since we have been closed up at home for a week and also on Sunday, we just thought of bringing the small one out for a while as he really looks boring staying at home.

A rainy day and holiday, I'm sure the shopping mall would be jam pack with crowd and traffic. We off to have brunch at Ole-Ole Bali at Solaris Mont' Kiara instead of walking and eating in the shopping mall. It is my first time there, a very high class place and this area is quite new too, as I can see not many shop lots occupied yet. Can easily spot Japanese, Korean and Mat Salleh hang out there. An eye opener for me, saw a kid's spa there, just above Coffee Bean. I think there have such service like fish spa, pedicure, manicure, hair saloon and etc, just like those services usually can find in an adult spa. If got the chance really want to go in and check out. The shop is call Fettish Kid Spa.

So there we ate at Ole-Ole Bali, a very Balinese ambience restuarant inside out. We choose to sit inside the restaurant. Terry was kind of like no mood and looks a bit tired too (he also a bit sick - cough and flu 70% to recover). Since he was sleeping in the car for about 20 minutes, expected that he'll be charged up a bit when we reach.

After we ordered the food. The boy looks stoned, not comfortable to sit by himself and like wanted to cry out already. I talking to him, he was very scared. So I carry him up from the seat and wanted bring him to walk around in the shop checking out the Balinese items. He refused me and insist want daddy. So, I passed him to hubby and he brought him out the restaurant.
The stone look

Once out, he makes a big real fuss there, keep crying, do not want to back to the seat and not even want to step into the restaurant. Those waiteress try go near and cheer him, he gave ppl an even louder cry. They also scared of him already. Boy oh boy, for sure we do not have a peaceful time to eat. I know what he has been up to, aside from the body not comfortable, he also being shock by the dim environment inside the restaurant and the Balinese background music playing in the restaurant.

When the food and drinks arrived, we forced to shift everything out. We sat outdoor under a big umbrella with teak wood table and benches, very nice too, not heard the any music but he still refused to sit with us. Daddy just carry him few meters away from the restaurant and I continue to eat first. I wallop everything in speed just wanted to take over and calm down the boy. I really do not know how my Bali plate taste like. I also not in mood to check the ingredients in my plate.

Kambing Bumbu RM26, Nasi Campur Beef RM33
Drinks no pic - Avocado Shake RM10, Barley Lime RM6

When I finished up everything, daddy's turn to eat and I carry the boy also stay few meters away from the seat. Since outside still raining, we just walk around the building and wait for daddy. He looks calm down a bit, but still very refused back to the seat. Daddy also in no time gobble down everything in speed. Really, hubby is quite mad over the boy. But what to do, he behaved like that. Blame that we brought him out at the wrong time.

After the quick brunch, we hop on the car and back home, no elsewhere to go. Once back into our car, Terry was just alright, back to his active self. Back home at 3ish and still raining, the boy nap, I'm online and hubby out with his friend. Since I'm full fed; I skipped my dinner.

Poor daddy and mummy didn't get to enjoy the food. Sometimes Gwen also like that so we seldom dine at restaurant like this but if we occupied her with food, this will ease her nervousness a bit. Maybe Terry still not 100% well that's why he feels uncomfortable there. Hope he recovers fully soon. :)

Been to Solaris but not this restaurant yet. Maybe will give it a try but sometimes, also scare pay money for expensive food but Ryan kicks up a fuss and wanted to be carried and refused to sit still. Hence, seldom go nice restaurant anymore. Will probably bring the maid out the next time and get her to tend to Ryan if we want a decent meal.
