Diaperless train (Part I)

It was started last week when my mum still around, I'm thinking that why not give this boy a try see he able to pee without diaper. When I ask him where "shee shee" he can pat on his front. He somehow like understand what I said. Before I start to let him diaperless in the day, I repeat n-times to him where to pee, want to pee go where and so on..I even place lots of old clothes and towel ready to wipe pee.

OK, project start on the first day. He seems alright after the morning shower without diaper on and not ask for diaper too. Me and my mum repeat one after another "Want to shee shee?" he was like look so lost what is it about. Ok, nevermind, good that he not sit on the sofa the whole morning, really scared that he wets the cushions.

After more than 2 hours calling for pee, I asked again, he said NO. Finally, while I off hanging cloth and my mum at bedroom, he stands in front of his toys table and pee there. He look so scared like I will scold him. Well, I didn't of cause, I just told him "Nvm boy, this is shee shee. Now wet already, next time you want to shee shee tell mummy ok?" He even want to help me to wipe his pee on the floor. So, thats the only pee in the whole morning. Later of the day, diaper is on for nap time.

2nd day - I bring him to toilet, play water hose and making the shee sound, still fail. This was like after 2 hours already he is not pee and not even pee in the pant. After his lunch, he sat aside and play puzzle then we ate lunch. We still calling him and bring him to the toilet, but still get a NO from him. While we munching, I still looking at him as he sat quietly play. There goes my second look on him the floor is wet already. Lots of urine passing out, puzzle also wet a few pieces.. He must have keep and tahan in his bladder for long and only letting out until cannot tahan. Again he looks miserable and know how to say WET, WET. Quickly I dry the floor and bring him to change. Also, the same thats the only pee time. After diaper on, he was like so happy and relieve, his dear diaper can put on again.

5th days - He still refused let us bring him to toilet. He started to ask for diaper after morning shower. Looks like he is not ready to go diaperless yet.

Due to I'm alone with him now, with many house things to do, diaper is on 24 hours again. This Part I training got to put on hold until he is verbally ready to ask for pee.

No hurry. Wait till he's more ready. It'll be easier on everyone.

I haven't started on toilet training Gwen yet. She never give me any sign whether she had peed or pooed so I'm still waiting for the right time to start.

since you got to adjust back to ur daily routine now, i reckon this is not the right time to potty train him.

No worries as there is no need to rush him into it..it'll be easier when he is ready.

Don't worry, my Izac baru also about 2 1/2 years old only started to go diaperless, every kid is different. Last time Ivan pulak, say don't want diaper anymore after he turned 2... thank goodness he can wake up at night and ask for toilet.

no worry, when he is ready, he will let u know. Then you have your headache because he will trick u to bring him to toilet so that he can prolong his wakeful hours.

Don't worry, when Terry is finally ready, it would be fuss-free. Bryan is also not toilet trained.

It took me a few failed attempts before Ryan can be toilet trained. When they aren't ready it gives stress and frustration to both parties. Give a few weeks break and try again. Good luck.

Don't worry and don't rush him. When he's ready, he will tell you. My Alycia is only 100% diaper-free at 4.5 yo and she's the one who told me that she doesn't want to wear diaper anymore at night.
