The Pink Sisterhood
Thanks Slavemom, my good friend Mummy Moon and later from Vivian Choo for this breast cancer awareness tag in reminder to each other to "go Pink" for the month of October. Let us woman be more aware of this "killing" sickness and learn to check our breast often.
* One in eight women or 12.6% of all women will get breast cancer in her lifetime.
* Breast cancer risk increases with age and every woman is at risk.
* Every 13 minutes a woman dies of breast cancer.
* Seventy-seven percent of women with breast cancer are over 50.
* Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women between the ages of 15 and 54, and the second cause of cancer death in women 55 to 74.
* Risks for breast cancer include a family history, atypical hyperplasia, early menstruation (before age 12), late menopause (after age 55), current use or use in the last ten years of oral contraceptives, and daily consumption of alcohol.
* Early detection of breast cancer, through monthly breast self-exam and particularly yearly mammography after age 40, offers the best chance for survival.Above facts taken from Women’s Health Organisation Forum.

Proximidade Award
Thanks Mummy Gwen always awarded me ;) really nice to know you and to me you simply just more than a blogging buddy. The special "proximity" in many ways is hard to find in between many others out there.
This award is in Portuguese. After translation it means: "This blog invests and believes in...Proximity". Haha..How cool is that.
"They all are charmed with the blogs, where in the majority of its aims are to show the marvels and to do friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut or that they propagate? Then let’s try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to 8 bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text."
This award would like to share with: -

Sunday at 1 Utama
Sunday after church, my good brother asked whether I want to go shopping at 1 Utama (well normally is I ask him more than he ask me). Since quite a while not been there and I always have things to buy, so we went while my boy taking his nap at my mum's place.
Just a short 3 hours shop and window shop. On the way to 1U, we dropped by 100yen at SS2 to check out some bento stuff. So disappointed, it is still the same..only rice molds and heaps of bento boxes. I grabbed the car windscreen shade and a cloth dusty stick cleaner roll (don't know how to call the exact item name - used to remove the dust stick on the clothes). All 3 items for RM4.90 each. The cashier go punched 4 items. When I saw and checked it, we were already in the car on the way to 1U, so we make a U-turn back to claim back the differences.
While my brother went to find his stuff, I shopped at Jusco, renew J-card and redeem the J-points for a RM20 voucher then we continue stroll around. Wanted to shop for new shoe and dresses too, but not really in mood to look for it. Since Halloween and Deepavali is around the corner we found this nice deco at New Wing.
Then later, we went to Old Town Kopitiam. Since this restaurant is around for quite sometimes, but yesteday was my first time eating there. I don't find the nasi lemak is good as many said (maybe they refer with Rendang chicken), the fried chicken is fried till hard and salty too. The Asam Laksa is good - thumbs up and same goes to the drink.
Special Nasi Lemak RM 7.30, Asam Laksa RM 6.80, Black Current Yogurt Smoothies RM 6.80
Thats my Sunday, today is Deepavali holiday but hubby not around got own work to settle.

Paid from Nuffnang Ad
I never think of earning big by placing ad. My Google Adsense was just reaching USD10 not long ago since placing it more than 2 years ago. So poor, nobody wants to click. I do feel the same hopefuless when I first placed Nuffnang ad since May 2007. Cause people normally don't read ad. It is just the same when the media ad is show on TV you will take the time to go toilet or drink water.
For Nuffnang, it did work but slow. The accumulation of few cents by few cents grows kinda fast. I'm not sure whether got people really go and click and read the ad, but sometime when I saw something interesting I'll click on and check it out (*Pls note, I'm not clicking 99% by myself to earn the CPC). My last login the earning is just half way more to go for the first payout.
Today I login again, I saw the amount RM 51.27. It is eligible for the first cheque, I just try to blink my eye to read and double confirm the figure again...Yes, it is. How happy I am on this Saturday first time earning from placing ad. Btw, I will only get the cheque after 30 days.

Hair restyle at Shunji Matsuo
This is the very first time in my life I got my haircut done by a professional hair stylist, the first time walk into this kind of classy hair studio and also first time spend the most on a haircut.
Yeah, this thrifty and cincai wife here have been stick to those conventional hair saloon since she was a little girl, which a hair cut can only cost below RM15. I'm actually so sick of keeping my shoulder length layered for more than 10 freaking years. Everytime go to hair saloon is cut shorter only. If were to ask them what other hair style looks good on me, they will either ask me to cut shorter, keep long layered or giving me a hair styling magazine ask me choose from there. I did permed it too in between, but those hair style not last long for my soft hair texture. Sometime really no confident to ask them to give me a change or if I choose for a change (from those mag), end up I don't really like it. So, always it is still play safe - remaining the usual style.
You know what, on this year itself up to yesterday I only went to saloon once; which is few days before Chinese New Year for cut shorter, coloured and treatment. After that, no trim, no cut, no treatment. I actually wanted to go for a real change at hair studio already since my last hair cut, but time not allow, so keep till today after being push and push.
My cousin sis the one who really understand me inside out keep pushing me to Shunji Matsuo for a real change and recommended me her hair stylist. Sunny Ang is the top one in Shunji. So, not wait any longer till Chinese New Year, now I have my new hair style. It is not those very outstanding, but something different from the old fashion layered hair. I coloured it too in Copper Brown.
While I'm there, I just let the hair stylist decide without giving much of my own suggestion. He was percise and trim my hair slowly. He took almost 45 mins to do it. First, they wash my hair with 2 rounds shampoo, then blow dry. Cut and trim began, when done blow again. Coloured began, 1 hour 15 mins to do it. Wash it, blow dry and did final trimming. Later the hair stylist even gave me some comments on my hair texture and generally what kind of hair style suitable for me. The advice is really priceless. The conventional hair saloon which I visited more than 10 years also not giving me such info.
Half way trimming
Half way colouring
Done!
Although this new hair style is something like I've cut it before, but the way Sunny trim it in creating the hair movement is certainly different. My first time so far so good and I'm very happy and satisfied. I will be back again and I think I can stop going to those conventional hair saloon.

Thanks Mummy Gwen for the tag. It did brought back lots of those memories and well, it just like happened yesterday ;)

7. Share your happiest moment with him.
-> Watching Terry grows day by day.
8. Share your saddest moment with him.

Hope this tag would bring back lovely memories of Yesterday...and hmm, after the question 12, if your answer dates more than 24 hours ago, it's time to go over to your hubby or wife, give him or her a great big hug and a kiss!

Online photo printing
* This is not a paid review
What is your experience of sending your digital photo for printing? hassle?
Yes, to me it is. First, got to Save it into pen drive. Since all the pictures got to be in full pixels, sometime can use up more than one pen drive or SD cards to store. Later, need to travel to fotoshop, stuck in the traffic, pay parking fee then walk to the shop, plug in your pen drive and upload to their system. Not only that, sometime system or printing kiosk giving you system problem, picture reading problem, pen drive error and so on...then you need to select one by one for the photo size and quantity. Sometime too many you may key in wrongly. Charges wise, some need processing fee, some not.
But this round I'm doing it online comfortably at home and can do it at anytime. Without worried of all the hassle. I can upload any amount of photo to print. It is so convenient and easy. Charges wise it is much more cheaper. So, which do you prefer?
I'm doing it at EOE online, first time printing photos online and I'm very satisfied with the service and print quality. I just done 400+ pics print with no processing fee, free courier delivery* and only RM0.30/pcs for 4R size. Extremely great deal! So if you have lots of photo plan to print, consider to do it at EOE, they have this prints promotion in low price till year end.
*For any products or print orders above RM35, you will entitle for free delivery.

Bento #1
It has been 3 weeks I'm not going to church. Yesterday back again and I was thinking on what to do with the boy during worship and sermon time as to make him stay quiet and sit with me, rather then bugging me to go outside after offering.
I gave him Bento. There goes it starts my Bento creation (which I don't think wanted to start so soon). Very simple one - snack bento with alphabet biscuits, raisin, Honey Star, grapes and bread. He sat quietly finish all except the bread. He just adore the box and no special expression from him when he sees the food. Once he saw his favourite alphabet biscuit, he quickly pick it up and play with the picks once finish the grapes. Overall still ok, at least he can finish almost all.

Country bar code
Got this from email and I must let many other know too, how helpful and useful of the barcode.
Due to the whole world scared of China made products, the China businessman also know that the consumers do not prefer products "Made in China", for some they won't show made from which country.
However, we really got to check where the things are produced. You may now refer to the barcode, if the first 3 digits is 690-695 then it is made in China. Please becareful on China made food or product now for your own health and better think twice before buy or consume.
This is made in Taiwan
From the EAN barcode system, here I've extract some country's product which we see often. Remember, it indicates the country that issued the code, NOT THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN OF THE PRODUCT.
For the full list of all other country, you can check here.

Shielding lotion for dry skin
Every woman love to have a pair of soft, smooth and silky hand. No doubt, I'm one of them too. But being born with a pair of dry hands, I'm always try my best to use good lotion to keep it in a good condition.
Needless to after being a mum and fulltime housewife, the condition become bad and wanting to have a perfect condition of hand is like a dream now. Everyday I got to contact with many strong chemicals washing detergent, it really does spoil the skin. The conventional lotions rather works good as the moisture will wash off together once I wash my hand.
After knowing from Sasha she is trying a new lotion, I very urge to give it a try. Gloves In A Bottle works different! It is a shielding lotion and it does not wash off. It is like an "invisible glove" will continue to give protection to dry skin by keeping the moisture being irritate out.
I simply fall in love with the lotion texture. It is quick absorb to skin, fragrance free, moisture and most important it not left with greasy feel. I can immediately continue to work at kitchen without leaving any oily hand prints on glass-ware.
I think I will stick to Gloves In A Bottle for sometime. After using it for few weeks, my skin is smoother, not dry and crack like before. If you like to feel yourself the goodness of this lotion, don't hestitate to email Pete Grimaldi to ask for samples.

Raya Holidays
We spent both days more out of the house. Wednesday, we shopped at Sunway Pyramid. Long time we didn't went there since before the big renovation. It is another big mall now with more shop and restaurants. I simply love the parking system there as we only need to look for the green light at each level for available space.
We got a car buggy ride for the boy while we there (RM3 per hour). He was so joyous riding it while we push him everywhere and he "drove" inside there. The buggy are quite of sticky and dirty (I believe to all others too), especially the empty covered space behind the seat. People used to throw rubbish inside. Althought I don't find any rubbish there, but so yucks!
He don't feel bored sitting in it and just spin and spin the steering. Thats good too, daddy or me no need to carry him to walk the whole mall when he tired. When we eat and ask him out, he took awhile to leave the ride..
Lunch time, we ate at Sakae Sushi. Daddy and Terry got to share seat as the place is too narrow to place a baby chair. Nothing to shout about, except the ordering system is through the interactive screen.
Terry "monopoly" the mouse
The screen on each table above the conveyor belt
Gyu Don (beef slices with rice - portion so small!)
Mini Bus kid bento
Quickly after the lunch, I shopped for my Biotherm facial set, the boy fall asleep while waiting me. Got RM30 voucher on this purchase, looks like I got to plan another shopping trip to use it. Sales is still not end so soon.
Thursday, we back to Seremban kampung for celebrating Terry's great grandpa birthday. Thats about our Raya Holidays.
