It was long long time ago I participated in an organisation run. 11/11/2013 on this beautiful Sunday, I'm decided to join this meaningful charity run - Terry Fox run at Padang Merbok, KL together with hub and son.
This is a run for funding cancer research and founded by a veteran named Terry Fox in year 1938. I came to know this running event in year 2006 when hubby first joined Terry Fox run. This year was his 5th time joining and is our very first time running together as a family. Many countries did participated in memory of Terry Fox and in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur it was an yearly event held on the 2nd week of November.
We bought the t-shirt on the spot as a form of support the fund. We took part in the family route of 3km distance, we managed to finish it in a short time. After the run, Terry found it so fun as there were many kids and even younger kids in stroller running along and some ppl even brought along their small puppy to run. I hope we will join again next year.
