Just the other day when I was follow hubby to join a gathering, we were talking about jobs and career. Nowadays it is hardly to find an employee that can work under same employer for more than 10 years. Recently, I found that a few of my ex-colleagues who are just from that group. They have been rewarded with a trophy for being Long Service. Well, I can say it is not easy to achieve for the great contribution and effort that they paid in.
From what I know, nowadays many will change jobs from one place to another higher level in seek for better exposure and higher pay in an average of every 3 to 5 years time. It is quite normal and the biggest reason is that the employer does not offer promotion and revise the remuneration package.
